Connectivity

Here I am, sitting here in my apartment, ready to crawl into sleepy-land, and we have internet!!  I just finished watching Obama’s acceptance speech at the Democratic Convention, on CNN.  I’d just gotten back from our first group salsa lessons, and was grabbing a few things for tomorrow, when I remembered.  I flipped through our channels, and was able to catch just the last part of the autobiographical video, before his speech.  If I’ve ever talked politics with you, I think you’ll know how I felt about his speech, and how I feel about Obama.

Now that we are, at long last, connected wirelessly at home, I am ready to skype!!  It will also be much easier to stay in touch when I prefer.  My skype name is linnea-christine, and I am ready to rock and roll and talk with everyone!  I’ll even give you a tour of my awesome apartment, featuring stunning views and breathtaking sunsets!

It is past my bedtime, and I can already feel my head drifting toward the pillow, so I am out for now.  Pictures and such coming soon.  I’ll see ya on skype!

  1. Hi Linnea,
Since you mentioned watching Obama’s speech, I should tell you to check in on MnBlue.com to see what is going on with the Republican convention getting-ready-plans. SWAT teams raided 4 houses in the TwinCities and found some folks who are politlitically active young people who will participate in a march tomorrow to protest the behavior of the Bush Administration. I will be there at the march in St.Paul with one of Eric’s friends who blogs on MnBlue and is also a reporter. Follow his blog and you will know how my day goes.

  2. Darling! I miss you! I’m now home in Fairfax (my new home, living with my brother here instead of Herndon) to start my new job tomorrow. I’ve been traveling up a storm the past few weeks, which has been nice. I’m ready though anxious to start up a regular schedule again at work. It’s worrisome. Bah. I hope to keep up exercising (hah, like I’ve done THAT recently), reading, and staying in contact with everyone. I just moved my boyfriend Brian up to upstate New York, which will only add to the stress. Sigh, I do hope everything works out. We’ll see what happens with my life after this semester. *MWAH* Love, Beth
