Dear everyone,
I had a truly stellar weekend, which included botanical gardens, eventful bus rides, a trip to a beautiful beach by boat, and a holiday on Monday. And things are going okay here at school. Today went very well, and my class was able to respond to me more and to quiet down (not an easy feat) for a decent period of time.
But now I am pooped and I want to take a nap or go for a swim. I should be able to access the internet from our apartment soon, but for the moment, I pretty much just have it at school. And thus…yes, pictures exist, yes, I have more to say, but the sun is sparkling (for now) and the beach beckons. So I shall catch you later.

Yay! I hope you went and did salsa! It’s fun! I haven’t done it in awhile, but I’m listening to that “na-nanana-na-nanana-na” song. Okay so that’s really not descriptive but whatever, it’s an acapella version and I REALLY wanna go dancing right now, you know? Just have that desire! I’ve been all over the place, moving and now just visiting and spending time with people before work really starts for me in a week and a half. And then I suppose I’ll have to figure out what to do with the rest of my life. So tonight, the goal is to update my resume!
I miss you lots. I hope I can come visit you some day. I’m not sure when, but I think it’d be really awesome. I just got back from a scuba diving trip with my brother, sister in-law, and Kristen and it was a blast! Maybe I’ll grab Kristen and we can come visit Cartagena for some good diving and ‘Nea action!
) I’d certainly LOVE to visit Colombia!

I want you to know that I almost blew like forty bucks on these two really cute dresses today. They were fantastic. But I settled for just getting a necklace. Why? Because I miss you. And can’t wait to visit you.

Hey ‘Nea!
Just so sorry to hear that the beach beckins!!!!!!!! Jeeeeeeeeez. Okay, so you’ve got your class quieted down, are you actually teaching them anything???? Or does the beach constantly beckin???? Anyway, Ian & I leave for Blacksburg early in the a.m. I’m volunteering at the Fairfax Obama office 2 days next week. Much love, Mom
